What academic background do I need to apply?
The programme welcomes applicants from a wide variety of academic disciplines. Graduates from any department of a recognized Greek or foreign university, as well as those from accredited technological institutes, are eligible to apply.
Language requirements?
As the programme is conducted entirely in English, proficiency in the language is essential for success in your coursework. Please ensure you are comfortable engaging with academic materials, participating in discussions, and completing assignments in English.
What key criteria will the admissions committee look at?
Evaluations are based on a 100-point rubric:
Bachelor’s Degree Grade: up to 30 points
Oral Interview: up to 25 points
Relevant Research & Publications: up to 15 points
Professional Experience: up to 10 points
Statement of Purpose: up to 10 points
Recommendation Letters (2): up to 10 points
Is physical attendance ever required in Greece or Germany?
No, the program is 100% distance-learning. You can access all lectures and course materials through your web browser on any device. While instructors may occasionally organize optional in-person sessions, these are never compulsory, and no physical attendance is required to complete the degree.
Can I work at the same time?
Absolutely. The programme is specifically designed with flexibility in mind to accommodate working professionals and international students. You can pursue your studies without the need to relocate or interrupt your current professional commitments.
How much are the tuition fees, and are payment plans available?
Tuition is €5,200 for EU/associated country citizens and €8,000 for non-EU citizens.
Are there fee waivers or excellence scholarships?
Yes. Between 10% to 30% of admitted students receive statutory tuition fee waivers based on financial/social criteria, and merit-based excellence scholarships are awarded during the program.
Can I take an internship or study abroad during the degree?
Yes. An optional 2-month internship (10 ECTS) can replace an elective course starting in the 3rd semester, and students are eligible for international mobility via Erasmus+.
